Monica Wendel is the author of No Apocalypse (Georgetown Review Press, forthcoming) and the chapbook Call it a Window (Midwest Writing Center, 2012). She holds an MFA in creative writing from NYU, and has taught writing at Goldwater Hospital, NYU, St. Mary’s Health Care Center for Kids, St. Thomas Aquinas College, and Still Waters in a Storm Community Center. She is the current Kerouac Writer in Residence at the Jack Kerouac Project of Orlando, Florida.
