Phillippe Diederich is a Haitian-American writer and photographer born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Mexico City and Miami. His first novel, SOFRITO, Cinco Puntos Press 2015, made the L.A. Times list "23 Fiction Books to Read this Summer" and Bookriot's "6 Small Press Books to Read this Summer." His short fiction has been published in over a dozen literary journals and won numerous awards including the 2013 Chris O'Malley Fiction Prize from The Madison Review and earned four Pushcart nominations.
