Amy Green is an award-winning environmental journalist at WMFE, central Florida’s flagship NPR station. She has worked as a regular contributor to NPR, PEOPLE, Newsweek, The New York Times and The Christian Science Monitor. She began her career at The Associated Press. Her book MOVING WATER on the Everglades is due out in 2020 by University Press of New England. She lives in Orlando with her 3-year-old daughter.
