15 Views Audio Freebie

15 Views Audio Freebie

posted on February 7th, 2012 by Ryan Rivas

A big thanks is due to the massive crowd who showed up to the 15 Views of Orlando book release party, and to those who supported both Burrow Press and Page 15 by picking up a copy. Those of you who missed the party and haven’t yet bought the book, you can now listen to the fantastic readings that you missed. Impressed? Buy a copy online or swing by Urban ReThink between 10am and 4pm Mon. – Fri. to get one. It is pretty much the only way to support a small press, and, in this case, you’re helping Page 15 continue to offer free tutoring, writing programs in and out of school, creative writing summer camps, and their latest project, an anthology of Orlando student work.

Giving back.

Giving back.

Burrow Press is proud to be a strong supporter of Page 15, a nonprofit literacy arts program committed to providing supplemental reading and writing education for all students living and attending public school in Orlando, Florida. A percentage of our sales goes directly to the foundation, but we also involve ourselves in all of Page 15′s programs. We feel there’s nothing more important than giving back to the community and paying it forward to the next generation of young minds.

“My grandmother used to tell me that you couldn’t give up on a book until you read to page 15,” says Julia Young, Page 15′s founder and executive director. In honor of how the foundation got its name, the Page 15 logo will be represented on page 15 of every book Burrow Press publishes. The foundation is always looking for volunteers and sponsorships for its yearly writing camps and free after-school tutoring program. We hope you join us in encouraging and celebrating creative thought by donating your time or money to www.page15.org.
