One gift recipient
Step 1: At checkout, include the giftee’s shipping information in the shipping fields.
Step 2: Also at checkout, in the “order notes” box, write “GIFT,” and include the giftee’s email, as well as an optional gift message to be included in the package.
Multiple gift recipients / bulk orders
Our online checkout is not quite made for multiple gift / bulk orders, but the good news is it’s easy to buy multiple Burrow books for your friends and family, and there will be a real live human overseeing the process the whole way through. Here’s how:
Step 1: Simply send an order request to [email protected] with the subject line “Burrow Press Gift Order.”
Step 2: In the body of the email, list the following information for each person receiving gifts (if you are also getting a little something for yourself, include your info as well):
- giftee’s name
- mailing address
- email address
- which books they should receive, and how many of each
- a short gift message to be included in the package (optional)
Step 3: We’ll send you an invoice with a link to pay with a credit or debit card through our secure website. After payment you’ll receive a receipt and we’ll get your order started ASAP.
And that’s it. Though it may be slightly unconventional, please keep in mind we’re a very small organization and your support makes all the difference in the world!
A note about gift subscriptions
If you’re gifting a Burrow Press Subscription, we send out books as they are released. Usually this is every few months. If there are no books out yet to send when you purchase a gift Subscription, we will send a notice of your gift (along with your optional message) via a stylized email to the giftee. If your gift is time sensitive (for example, a birthday or around the holidays), you may also include a date/time for us to send the stylized email.
