James Fleming‘s fiction, semi-fiction, and non-fiction writings have appeared in McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, Venture, Burrow Press Review, Rain Taxi, Popmatters, ImageText and other magazines and journals.  He’s from Cape Cod and Boston, MA and lives in Orlando now with his wife and dogs. He is a former Ph.D. fellow in Folklore and 19th century British literature at the University of Florida. He teaches writing, literature, creative writing and folklore studies at various colleges. He is at work on two novels and a memoir.
