In anticipation of our upcoming fiction anthology, Fragmentation + other stories, this week’s links are dedicated to the writers who appear in the book. Get to know them. We love their work.
Gene Albamonte appears in print and on the web. His column for PANK about advertising is marvelous, and so we snatched him and pleaded he be a contributor for our own blog. He accepted.
Edward Bloor has authored a ton of YA novels, including the very popular Tangerine, London Calling (not to be confused with The Clash’s album) and Taken (not to be confused with the movie starring Liam Neeson). He exists on the internet here.
Ed Bull’s name bears a striking resemblance to the aforementioned author, however, I assure you, they are different people. He blogs here, where you’ll find links to other great stories he’s written.
Hunter Choate is the best writer you’ve never heard of. He’s got some great pieces at elimae, decomP, Word Riot and elsewhere. Read them. His website is his name plus dot com. His last name rhymes with “coat.”
James A. Crescitelli used to man Urban Think! Bookstore. He contributes to our blog and to his own. He’s also got some pieces at Suite 101.
Tom DeBeauchamp is a gentleman and a scholar. He is part of the Pilot Books Seattle crew, where he blogs. He contributes to the HTML GIANT literary magazine club, and he’s got flash fiction at Smalldoggies and Hobart.
Christopher Heavener is the editor and publisher of Annalemma magazine. He’s got many stories published in the tubes of the internet and here are two: Omens (in PANK) and Cocoon (in elimae).
Jonathan Kosik prefers to remain mysterious.
Peg Alford Pursell is on the internets. She’s got stories there, too, such as Magpies (Emprise Review), Celestial Bodies (Precipitate) and Nora and Paul at the Coffee Shop (Staccato). Peg’s BP story inspired the title for the whole anthology.
Ryan Rivas is a very talented gentleman (thus why I recruited his brain for BP). He’s got a very short story in decomP, and another kind-of short story forthcoming in Emprise Review. He sometimes reviews books for the Pilot Books Seattle blog, like this one, and this one.
J. Christopher Silvia contributes to the BP blog. He is a crafty one. He’s had stories published in Annalemma and elsewhere, and also has a website that lives here.

That’s 11 authors and 11 stories. The book will feature 11 photos by 11 photographers to match. The book will also come with a soundtrack by a man named Swamburger. Start saving those dollars.

Sorry guys. Right now I am trying to get a portfolio site up that includes writing, links to stories and some fun things I do with cameras. But that is all coming up. For now, alas, I am. Mysterious.
@Jonathan … you preferring to remain mysterious made you my favorite author in the pack w/out even reading anyone’s anything.
@ jana & rivas: looking forward to this anthology AND to the forthcoming ReThink + Snap! love affair/ workspace co-habitation that is about to take place. “awww to tha yeaaa!!!”
