Linda H. Heuring is a short-story writer known for her character-driven narratives and her penchant for the overheard phrase. Her short fiction has appeared in Crack the Spine, Crannog (Ireland), Rosebud, Kestrel, Alabama Literary Review, Broad River Review, Dos Passos Review, and other publications. Her honors include the Fish International Short Story Prize (Ireland) and the Rash Award in Fiction, and she was shortlisted for the Bridport Prize (UK) among other honors.
